It would seem to me that it is an all too often occurrence that people marketing on the Internet are spending too much time reading and trying to gather information about website construction, promoting, attending training sessions, etc. than they are at actually sitting down and doing some work.
Look, its easy to sit and listen to others talk about their successes on the net. What they do and how they do it...but unless you are willing to go to work...you will never accomplish anything.
The Internet is like the wild west in regards that it is an open field ripe for the taking. The essential beginning is to just start. From there, you will begin to pickup techniques and tricks along the way that will make your Internet marketing more successful.
There is no magic button here. I have spent an incredible amount of time in the past couple of years molding my online presence. The way I did that was by writing articles out the wazoo. I had someone ask me once "how do you come up with all that original content for your press releases, EzineArticles and posts?" My answer was that I sit in front of the keyboard and write like there is no tomorrow.
I have been down the MLM road with some of the best networkers in the business. These guys all had one thing in common and that was their ability to work. Working online is like any other business. The more you work, the better and more honed you become at your trade. Same thing here...do the work...and the work will come to you.
Also, there is one thing that I think is terribly worth mentioning here. Do your own thing. By that I mean don't try to copy what others are doing. Don't try to copy and paste your way to success on the net. Google will slap you at some point for this type of action...and it just does not work. Be brave and ambitious. You are not bound by anything on the internet except your ability to believe in yourself. What you are and what you stand for is good enough.
So...write those articles...the best way you can at first...the words will begin to come easier over time. Stay away from all those training classes and learn yourself that it really is all about promoting yourself and your internet marketing programs. Be very selfish in this endeavor and you will be surprised at the benefits that will come your way.
The road less travelled is the way to become successful on the net. Trying to copy someone else is less than productive and it takes you having the foresight to create your own maize of information on the internet.
You want to know the really cool thing about all this as well? You do not have to spend much money to successfully promote on the internet. Hey, you can spend your money on all the software that will make you rich and famous, but for my hard earned money...I have learned much better lessons.
In my professional opinion...there is NO program...NO software...NO system that will make you fantastically rich and famous and good looking. It does not happen and I will continue to voice this loud and clear over the net until my voice is heard and recognized.
So...take your best shot...be your own boss...and become successful your own way on the road less travelled!
